Terms of service

These terms cover your use of the Love and Ember online store and any order you place through it. By placing an order you are agreeing to them. We are a small Canadian shop selling printed art, apparel and gifts.

Placing an order

An order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send you an order confirmation email. If we cannot fulfil an order - a product is unavailable, a price was listed wrongly, or we cannot verify payment - we will cancel it and refund you in full.

Prices and payment

All prices are in Canadian dollars and do not include taxes or shipping unless stated. Taxes and shipping are calculated at checkout before you pay. We may change prices at any time, but a change will never affect an order already confirmed. Payment is taken at checkout through Shopify. We never see or store your full card details.

Products and colours

Our canvases, shirts and hoodies are printed to order, so tiny variations in placement and colour between one item and the next are normal and are not faults. Screens vary, so colours on your device may not match the printed item exactly. Product photos are illustrative.

Shipping and returns

Delivery times, costs and duties are set out on our shipping page. Returns, replacements and refunds are set out on our return and refund policy. Both of those pages form part of these terms.

Using this site

Please do not use our store to break the law, to interfere with the site or its security, or to scrape or copy it for a competing service. We may refuse service or cancel an order if we reasonably believe it is fraudulent.

Our designs

The artwork, product photos, logo and text on this site belong to Love and Ember. You are welcome to share them, but please do not reproduce them commercially or print them on your own products without our permission.

Accounts

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your password safe and for anything done through your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access to it.

Privacy

How we handle your personal information is set out in our privacy policy.

Liability

Nothing here limits any right you have under Canadian consumer protection law. Beyond those rights, our responsibility to you for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.
